Readiness
One less task between the service member and the mission.

Salute Yourself Initiative
We save you time while you serve your time. Practical support that protects the dignity, morale, and readiness of the people behind the uniform.
Our Mission
Military readiness is built through thousands of daily details. Salute Yourself Initiative removes practical burdens, restores time, and reminds service members that their service is seen.
We are a registered nonprofit beginning in Central Texas and building a repeatable model for military communities across the nation.
Current Project
Free laundry supportfor service members.
Clean uniform.Clear mind.Mission ready.
Project Fit to Fight coordinates free uniform cleaning through approved community drop-off and pickup points, helping service members protect their time, presentation, morale, and peace of mind.
One less task between the service member and the mission.
Less daily pressure and more time for rest, family, and recovery.
A tangible reminder that the community stands behind those who serve.
Professional uniform care delivered with respect and no hidden cost.
How It Works
Our controlled handoff process keeps every uniform accounted for from drop-off through return.
Before each laundry drive, we email the scheduled windows, instructions, and available locations closest to the service members we serve.
Choose the approved drop-off and pickup point provided in your email. The Leaf Affair is our founding Killeen location.
Our team picks up the uniforms, coordinates professional cleaning, and tracks each order for return.
Return to the confirmed location and window. No fees. No hidden costs. No strings attached.

Built to Scale
We are building a network of installation coordinators, community partners, approved drop-off points, and mobile service hubs. Wherever service members serve, practical support should be within reach.
Coming Next
A clearly branded truck stationed during scheduled service days—bringing drop-off access, gratitude, and visibility directly into the community.
Thank you for your service.05 / Community
We are planning a Veterans Day season gathering to honor veterans, build connection, and say thank you in a meaningful way.

“My life is useless to me if it is not useful to somebody else.”
Jonah Okebulu is a U.S. Army veteran, author, minister, counseling psychology professional, and strategic leadership scholar. From childhood, service has been more than something he does—it has been the organizing principle of his life.
During his Army service as a wheeled-vehicle mechanic and recovery specialist, including an operational deployment to Lithuania and base-defense operations in Poland, Jonah became known not only for mission performance but for the trust soldiers placed in him.
That trust became action. Jonah created the Talk Team, a bridge to behavioral-health and chaplain services, and established T3: Taurus Table Talk during deployment for honest conversations about mental health, pressure, and life away from home.
Daily encouragement, After PT Prayers, spiritual counseling, and hope for soldiers and supporters.
A trusted bridge connecting soldiers with professional and chaplain care before isolation became crisis.
A soldier-centered conversation space for candid dialogue about resilience and shared experience.
From 100 free football tickets for soldiers and families to resources that personalize Army Values.
Jonah holds a bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a Master of Divinity in Christian Leadership and Ministry, and is pursuing a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership. His service has been recognized with the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and additional honors.
To ensure service members feel seen, supported, and strengthened in practical ways—restoring time, protecting dignity, strengthening readiness, and reminding people that their lives matter.
